Where did Dillon’s Law come from?

In 2014, A family from Mishicot, Wisconsin lost their eighteen year old son, due to an undiagnosed bee venom allergy. Dillon was helping a friend with yard work when he was stung. Within minuted he asked his friend to call 911 and then became unconscious. First volunteer responders did not have epinephrine, the life saving medication he desperately needed. After a week on artificial cardiopulmonary support the hard decision to let Dillon go was made. That day, Dillon improved the lives of others through organ, eye, and tissue donation. His parents, Angel and George Mueller, decided they would do everything they could to prevent this from happening to another family. This led to a team working to create Dillon’s Law, allowing trained individuals to carry and administer epinephrine auto-injectors
